Just a 15-minute drive from Columbia, Missouri

We’re a little off the beaten path, but well worth the effort.

On a bike

Cooper’s Landing is located at mile 163.5 on the Katy Trail. From Hindman Junction, turn north toward Hartsburg and continue about 6 miles. View mileage chart.

In a boat

Cooper’s Landing is located at mile 170 on the Missouri River.

From the road

From the West through Columbia:
From the center of town near the university, take South Providence Road (MO 163) about 7.25 miles. Turn left on Old Plank Road South, continue 1 mile. Turn left onto South Smith Hatchery Road, continue 3.3 miles and you’re here!

From the West through the river bottoms:
From eastbound I-70 Huntsdale exit (Highway O), drive south about 1 mile. Turn right onto Burr Oak Road, continue 6.1 miles, then right again onto Old Plank Road South 1 mile. Turn left onto South Smith Hatchery Road, continue 3.3 miles and you’re here!

From the North or East:
From I-70 and North Providence Road (Highway 163), drive southwest 8.7 miles. Turn left onto Old Plank Road South, continue 1 mile. Turn left onto South Smith Hatchery Road, continue 3.3 miles and you’re here!

Alternate route for people pulling campers:
From Highway 63 take the AC exit and head west (Grindstone Parkway). Turn left (south) at Providence Road, which turns into Highway K. Turn left on Old Plank Road South, continue 1 mile. Turn left onto South Smith Hatchery Road, continue 3.3 miles and you’re here!
